Role Description
The Audit and Risk and Control enablement manager will work and support the domain CIO/CIO-1/IT Application Owners and ERT CTO in all aspects of technology risks such as Identity and Access Management, Application Code Security, standard SDLC tools etc. The Audit and Risk and Control enablement manager organizes all ITAOs activities around IT, IS and audit programs. IIn collaboration with DWS Risk and Control, DWS CSO team they clarify requirements from control owners and other stakeholders, coordinate needed approvals, and implement the results in control workbench / special JIRA Project.

Your key responsibilities
- Overall Responsibility: The ITAO Transformation Lead is responsible for overseeing the transformation initiatives within the IT Asset Management and Operations (ITAO) domain. This includes ensuring that all ITAO tasks are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Nomination Process: They are involved in the nomination process for ITAO roles, ensuring that the right individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge are appointed to critical positions.
- Detailed Responsibilities: They are responsible for defining and delegating detailed responsibilities within the ITAO domain. This includes managing software assets, addressing audit and regulatory compliance, infrastructure and product logistics, application security and monitoring, identity and access management, SDLC and process management, and vendor applications management.
- Training and Development: The ITAO Transformation Lead ensures that the ITAO community is regularly trained on new policies and procedures. They create and implement a holistic curriculum that covers key ITAO responsibilities and provides additional detailed tool/process level trainings3.
- Governance and Control: They prepare recommendations for the ITAO Council.
- Community Engagement: The ITAO Transformation Lead conducts ITAO job satisfaction surveys, launches monthly connect calls, and organizes ITAO All Hands calls.
These responsibilities ensure that the ITAO Transformation Lead plays a crucial role in driving and overseeing transformation initiatives within the ITAO domain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
Your skills and experience
- Experience working in the financial industry (10+ years) and in particular risk technology
- Broad understanding of data and its usage within financial industry
- Ability to assimilate large quantities of information in short periods of time
- Understanding and experience of the SDLC
- Non-Financial Risk Management and Technology Risk Management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to relay complex information to a variety of end users from developers to senior managing directors within the business.
- Proactively, initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, team members and the business
