Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Participate in various types of content auditing activities having different levels of complexity. This includes addressing various requests and issues reported by various stake holders, including customers.
- Interpreting licensing/contract terms and conditions; using the knowledge gained from past experience; and auditing the content items to ensure a world-class quality content library.
- Understand the overall ServiceNow ITAM product suite—features, workflow—and utilize the knowledge gained from past experience in auditing ITAM content to ensure a world-class quality ITAM content library.
- Manage IT Products’ SKU information and multiple catalogues
- Creating and updating ITAM content-related process documents
- Review contents curated by team, where required, as part of internal content review process
- On a regular basis, auditing a high volume of ITAM content data of different types to ensure the customer and organization goals are met ahead of time.
- Impart the acquired knowledge from the overall experience to the team to improve the efficiency and quality of the content
- Transform the network discovery data into actionable information that can be used for license management and ensure the quality and correctness.
- Creation of various content entities whenever required.
- Collaborate with team members and different stake holders in a fast-moving and aggressive work environment, which helps our customers get world-class quality software and hardware content
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- The candidates should have 2–6 years of experience.
- Should have experience in IT Asset Management with extensive hands-on experience in internal and external audits or hands-on experience in any implementation of ITAM software, with quality assurance as a major responsibility
- OR/AND hands-on experience in ITAM industry with internal/external auditing of HAM/SAM implementations with content assets
- OR/AND extensive experience Manual software testing/data testing and well versed with quality and release concepts.
- Able to work efficiently and independently on high volume of data regularly and work with the team members and other stake holders with extended targets
- Excellent Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Should have passion for researching and providing solutions for various challenges
- Should have good problem-solving skills and should be innovative in approach to solutions
- Working knowledge of EAM Tools from industry—e.g. IBM Maximo, Upkeep, Fracttal One, Oracle EAM, SAP EAM, AssetWorks, NexGen, IFS, MVP, Infor, etc.—is a big plus
- Working knowledge and hands-on SAM and HAM tools like ServiceNow, SNOW, FlexNet, SCCM, MAP, ILMT, etc. is a big plus
- Knowledge of various licensing metrics of top software publishers like Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, etc. is preferred
- Knowledge of various engagement types/contract types and services offered by top manufacturers or software solutions is a plus
- Knowledge of VB scripts to gather information using tools like SCCM is a big plus
- Content-related: Any experience working in a similar content-data-based project is a big plus
- They should hold a bachelors, masters, or postgraduate degree in any stream with good academic record
