IT Professional Quality Engineer

The Opportunity:

As an IT Professional Quality Engineer you  will be accountable for design, coding and implementation of QA automation. You will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement and assisting team members to success. Work closely with global team ensure close collaboration and global team mindset

As an IT Professional Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Stakeholder management ability to work with various Roche horizontals and service team, provide support and recommendation on best practices in testing topics.

  
  

• Technical design and development of test automation scripting for large core product and functional components. 

  
  

• Perform requirement and design analysis and prepare functional, regression, automation and performance test specifications, test cases, and test data.

  
  

• Conduct product validation test execution, develop test plans and test strategy, report defects and generate test reports.

  
  

• Work closely with application development, architecture, and infrastructure teams for automation, performance testing and application analysis initiatives to define success criteria

  
  

• Enhance/Contribute to an automated test framework for Functional (UI & API Tests) or NonFunctional (Performance & Security Tests).

  
  

• Lead small to medium sized testing team, skill in mentoring and developing tester and manage their workload

  
  

• Ensure test results are documented and traceable.

  
  

Who You Are

• Minimum 5 years in Test Lead/Test Automation roles in medium to large enterprises, with strong knowledge of QA/test principles, methodologies, and strategies, especially in healthcare.

  
  

• Expertise in automation tools (e.g., HP UFT, Selenium, TOSCA), programming languages (Java, Python, VB Scripts), and scripting (JavaScript, Perl, Ruby).

  
  

• Experience with Event-Driven, Microservices, API-Driven architecture, and test automation of REST APIs and Swagger.

  
  

• Proven ability to lead automation efforts in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), with strong communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.

  
  

• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP UI for Web Services, and test automation tools/frameworks (BDD, TDD, Hybrid).
