Reliable hardware and seamless software are at the heart of every day-to-day IHG experience. Which means we need an IT Manager capable of inspiring their team of experts to continually raise the bar while installing, maintaining and backing-up key systems across the estate.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Managing and monitoring all computer hardware to ensure systems are running smoothly – regularly reporting back to the board
● Keeping up to date with all our approved systems and technology – from LAN to POS
● Auditing IT performance, managing budgets and evaluating vendor proposals
● Recruiting, coaching and managing your team of IT experts to drive exceptional standards
● Safeguarding our IT infrastructure against cyberthreats
What We need from you:
● Communication and customer service skills
● Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
● Knowledge of various hot and cold beverage recipes and espresso production
● Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
● Possess the ability to work under pressure
● Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
● Passion for coffee and coffee artistry
● Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field
● 4 years’ related experience with computer set-up and troubleshooting
● Working knowledge of networks, operating systems and databases
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Knowledge in PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards)
● Great communication skills
● You’ll be a team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking and able to work under pressure
