We are looking for IT Manager
You’ll make a difference by
- Overall responsibility for all aspects of the IT services, fulfilling the requirements for the depot operations and the management of all installed facilities and assets.
- Lead the project implementation and operation for the complete IT solution according to the PM@Siemens process in the agreed scope and budget (time, costs, quality).
- Coordinate the evaluation of all customer requirements in the contract regarding IT systems to prepare the final, detailed architecture solution.
- Responsible for the entire flow of data from the vehicle to the land side and for the related data processing targeting at value generation for the customer and the maintenance operation team.
- Ensure the cybersecurity of the developed IT solution.
- Plan and control all internal and external specialist departments involved in the project to successfully complete and operate the IT architecture.
- Create transparency about the status of the project (including its risks and possible escalations) and report regularly to the overall project management.
- Participate in establishing budgets. Responsible for monitoring progress and delivery to budget.
- Advise the overall project manager on any better alternatives in the interest of long-term maintainability and achievement of project targets.
- Supports in the development of new maintenance depot locations and improvement of existing depots with solutions that are innovative, meet acceptable standards for maintenance, and documentation exchange.
- Support the maintenance staff with using the relevant application software.
- Control change requests until the project stakeholders make a decision about their implementation.
- Take measures to manage all IT works comply with the applicable safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure software upgrades, implementations and modifications to keep the IT infrastructure operational.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in an IT science, natural science or engineering discipline.
- Possesses more than 10 years working experiences, preferably in a rolling stock manufacturing plant or in a maintenance depot.
- Several years of professional experience in IT project management and ideally in one other functional area such as sales, service, commissioning, or development / engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a project manager position and have solid knowledge of project management methods
- Experience in digitization projects / data-based solutions in maintenance asset management, ideally in the railway / rail environment.
- Good knowledge of the software product business and solution business with system integration at the customer.
- Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
- People Management experience.
