IT Lead (Functional), Oracle Cloud Operations – P2P & R2A


The IT Functional Lead, Oracle Cloud Operations will join an existing team of Mountaineers and vendor partners to ensure the service delivery activities in the Oracle platform application space exceed customer expectations, meet SOX compliance requirements, follow our ITIL protocols and are secure and high-performing.


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:


●      Work with the existing vendor partner and IRM IT team to ensure that the issues raised are timely addressed and are addressed well within the SLA. The Lead is responsible to provide timely guidance and solutions for all the issues within Oracle ERP Cloud functional areas like General Ledger, Cash Management, Purchasing, Suppliers, Payables, Inventory, Costing.


●      Engage with key business stakeholders to capture their priorities and provide timely progress updates to their issues while ensuring that there are no escalations.


●      Support IRM’s ongoing monthly and quarterly SOX requirements to ensure that Oracle ERP Cloud platform remains compliant, through providing necessary evidence to respective audits and maintaining the SOPs and ITIL service management protocols.


●      Be able to drive production service operations and improve support standards, stakeholder communications etc.


●      Plan and perform regression testing for the quarterly patching of our SaaS applications.


●      Support business users during month end period close, across geographies (US, LATAM, APAC) with ability to support multiple countries.


●      Influence teams to bring the right work culture and showcase the best practices by leading with examples.


●      Adopt and embed best practice into all support projects through the alignment to the Change Framework / ITIL standard practices. Define the right problem management process and influence teams to strictly adhere.


●      Liaise with Oracle project delivery/engineering teams as well as other service delivery teams to ensure efficient project delivery, deployment of enhancements and coordinated integration of IRM applications to others across the enterprise.


SKILLS & BEHAVIORS


●      Must have an in-depth understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud functional setups and configurations of all the major Finance & supply chain modules, with specific emphasis on General Ledger, Cash Management, Purchasing, Suppliers, Payables, Inventory, Costing.


●      Experience in Oracle cloud Risk Management & Compliance (RMC) esp. in role designing and resolving SoD conflicts is a plus.


●      Team Leading capability with proven skills and expertise in managing a team of 5-10 members.


●      Identify, manage, and communicate issues and risks, well in time and then escalating to senior management, if required


●      Work with users and partner teams to ensure that all tickets and requests are properly addressed, assessed, prioritized, and worked through to completion. Ensure services are performed to the agreed to SLAs.


●      Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


●      Oracle BIP/OTBI report-building skills to leverage the data in the application to resolve issues. Hands-on experience in SQL, BI Publisher, Workflows is desirable.


●      Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, providing solid accounting knowledge and expertise.


●      Outstanding collaboration skills; strong team player experienced in working with diverse global teams.


DESIRED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


●      10-12  years of experience with Oracle ERP applications, with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience within Oracle ERP/Fusion Cloud.


●      Hands-on and demonstrable experience and knowledge of core Oracle Financial modules.


●      Excellent understanding of Financial Reporting requirements and practices


●      Advanced knowledge and experience of G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides)


●      Committed team player who is willing to share, learn and support fellow team members


●      Ability to be proactive and take initiative


●      Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field


●      Finance/Accounting background is ideal


●      In-depth knowledge of automation, SRE, and technologies to develop and implement effective strategies for automation and continuous improvement.
