Digital Transformation / IS&T supports the Product Lines (Rolling Stock, Digital & Integrated Systems and Services) and Regions of Alstom mainly on the scope of internal IT (applications, infra, security, support). To answer new requirements form Alstom Customers to propose some Software as a Service Solutions and evolutions of Alstom products towards sofwtare (and cloud usage) Digital Transformation function is building a new technical platform and service model to our customers. The objective of the IT Desing Leader for Customer role is to build the right architecture of digital services to customers integrating different standard existing blocks and taking into account the contract // Customer specifics


JOB PURPOSE :


The IT infrastructure solution’s team has been created to deliver end to end solution to Alstom end users and Alstom customers by packaging all services delivered by network, cybersecurity, workplace and cloud& compute teams.


In scope are three solutions:


  • ONEXIS Cloud 
  • VDE : Virtual Developement Environement 
  • IT Labs (running on Vcloud Director) 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


You will directly report to Infrastructure solutions head of delivery and incubation and your role would consist on:


  • Maintaining Platform Stability and Performance: ensure the Azure cloud platform operates smoothly with optimal performance.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve any technical issues or incidents to minimize downtime.
    • Perform root cause analysis for any recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
    • Maintain incident logs and post-mortem reports to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Coordinate the effort with all teams involved including service providers 


  • Technical Support and User Assistance
    •  Provide technical support to internal users, helping them navigate and utilize Azure cloud services effectively.
    • Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by users, working alongside other teams when necessary.
    • Maintain a knowledge base with frequently asked questions and common troubleshooting steps 
  • ​​​​​​​Coordinate with Devops team all the technical deliveries linked to projects and BAU activites
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Monitoring & alerting: Use Alstom monitoring platform to preemptively address potential issues
  • Security & compliance: 
    • ​​​​​​​Conduct regular security audits and apply updates and patches to address vulnerabilities
    • Manage access controls and identity management using tools like Azure Active Directory
    • Ensure support to Cybersecurity team when conducting audits and remediations

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:


EDUCATION : Engineering degree


  • Graduated with an engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in information technology, you have more than 7 years of experience
  • You have a geniuine knowledge on public cloud services especially on Microsoft Azure : Minimumu certification required: AZ 104: Azure administrator . 
  • You have some experience as OS engineer (Mainly Windows)
  • You have good knowledge on some network basic concepts (firewall, VPN etc.)
  • You are conscious of delivery constraints and are able to push for technical decisions when necessary
  • You are comfortable to understand customer context and Alstom Products
  • Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international and matrix environment and to face the business challenges with Alstom
