General Summary:

Splunk developer to help with the design, development, and support the Splunk Infrastructure & applications. 
This role will join the Qualcomm Enterprise Data Analytics and Application platform(EDAAP) team that is responsible for supporting the One IT Splunk infrastructure. This is a strategic position and will be instrumental in the development, design, support, performance, and integrity of the Splunk ecosystem. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders both onshore and offsite.
 
3+ years of experience working on Splunk Development.
3+ years of Experience in writing SQL Queries, debugging the complex query design.
3+ years of experience with Splunk Knowledge Object Management.
3+ years of experience with premium Splunk apps such as SPLUNK Machine Learning or IT service Intelligence.
3+ years of experience in handling the Splunk GUI(XML,CSS,HTMl),performing customization.
 
Added Advantage: 
Having experience in using Datadog with writing YAML.
Entry level working experience on Tableau
Good to have python experience to perform automation
 
 
Certification:
1. Splunk Power user certified.(Mandatory)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) or a related field.
OR
• 1+ year of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) or a related field.
OR
3+ years of IT-related work experience with a High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with programming (e.g., Java, Python).
• 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with SQL or NoSQL Databases.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures and algorithms.
