Job Brief:This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer to be responsible for our India office's IT needs as well as working on global IT initiatives. They would join a tremendously hardworking, global and diverse technology team and work closely with the IT Lead. They need to have a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving, along with a professional and kind attitude. Job Description:
- Responding to staff members' support requests.
- Contacting staff members directly to find out the nature of the problem.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
- Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
- Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
- Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
- Providing basic training in computer operation and management.
- Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
- Work on global IT initiatives.
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Prior experience with 1 -3 years as an IT engineer or related position.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, peripherals and networking.
- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
- Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
