Job Description:
The Continuity Services Executive is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the organization's resilience in the face of disruptions. This role involves risk assessment, strategy design, testing, and coordination during incidents to minimize downtime and financial impact. Work from the customer location to ensure successful service delivery as per continuity services deliverables. Includes IT continuity planning and exercise oversight, issue resolution, Report preparation and related work. As part of larger DXC continuity services team, contribute to and leverage from best practices and standards.
Location The primary customer location is Gurugram, Haryana. The DR location of the customer is Hyderabad, Telangana. The resource should be a resident of Gurugram/Delhi or Hyderabad. Daily attendance to work is a must.
Gender Restriction None specific. Male preferred - as the resource may have to work at night and odd hours in customer locations in Noida.
Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Required:
A Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 8 years of IT operations experience in Project Management / Implementation and IT Operations Basic understanding of user access, web, applications and Databases functioning Understanding of Disaster Recovery and its processes Understanding of consequences of non-availability of applications for a few hours
