What you’ll do


Summary:


We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to contribute to the delivery of the S4 transformation and sustain activities of one of our strategic customer accounts.
 


The Role:


As a Project Lead, you are responsible primarily for the end-to-end management and delivery of projects across our customer’s landscape. In this role, you will primarily support the build and delivery of systems required for the successful implementation of our customer’s S4 transformation program. In addition, you will also lead and contribute to service pack updates, OS/DB upgrades, integration projects with our customer systems, and infrastructure improvement initiatives. You will interact with and coordinate internal teams and our customer on planning and execution of build activities, prepare and conduct project communication and status reports and meetings, contribute to the standardization of our overall build methodology, and act as a contact person for our delivery team.


What you bring:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate project plans and status.
  • Strongly focused on quality, customer success and driven by results
  • Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
  • Experience in project management (certifications like PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, Scrum, etc. are a plus)
  • Experience with SAP ECS internal build projects as well as tools (such as PQA, DED, etc) is a plus
  • Experience with Cloud, HANA and / or SAP Basis projects, and hybrid landscapes (both technical and architectural)
  • Experience in DB or SAP systems installation, configuration and maintenance, especially of S4 systems, is a plus
  • > 4 years of relevant experience

Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers.


PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
One of SAP’s strategic customers has conducted a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption as the customer is at the start of a large-scale S/4HANA transition program.
