About the department

The position is based in Digital Workplace product area department, part of Global IT Operations (GITO). The GITO Digital Workplace APAC Collaboration Tech department is a self-propelled unit based out of Bangalore, India working in an agile setup with global product teams for various digitalisation, communication, collaboration, and automation IT platforms. The growing team constitutes of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical and Business Analysts who work together with our Danish and US team to cater to Digital workplace requirements for Novo Nordisk employees. As an area we are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Power Platform, Novo Nordisk Meeting experience and collaboration technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms and devices. Together we focus on how to build a great digital workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.

The Position

As an IT Architect II - PowerPlatform, you will be responsible for the Designing and Architecting Power Platform, Dataverse and various integrations to other systems in terms of building roadmap, implementing the governance, and helping in continuous service improvements. More details of the roles and responsibilities:

• Design and implement the governance related to environment strategy, dataverse, DLP Policies, Connectors and Gateways. Collaboration with Business stakeholders for improvement of governance and plan larger implementations of projects in LOBs. (Such as Guides, Hololens, Project and any future D365 product implementations
• Build integrations from power platform to various cloud and on-premises systems considering the security for the sensitive data.Drive infrastructure as code (With respect to Power Platform) for configurations, environments, and tenant settings.
• Design, improve and implement Power platform and Dataverse security models for developing solutions in shared environments.Apply technical expertise to debug and remove the loophole in case any unexpected event happens for data breach / data loss for business.
• Design and implement the version control for Power Platform solutions using Azure Devops. Stay curious and analyze new features from Microsoft and provide feedback for potential improvement areas.
• Test and implement new features from Microsoft, including communication and training to App developers and support Organization. Be an integral part of Digital Workplace agile product delivery team and work on development features and stories.
• Provide technical advisory and expertise in qualifying Power platform services for GXP use. Continuously improve operations model and SLA for Power Platform in collaboration with Service Manager.
• Close collaboration with vendors (like Microsoft, NNIT) who supports the Power Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ or Masters in relevant field with min 10+ years of experience with IT.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Service/product organization in technical SME/Architect role.
• 2+ years’ experience in technical advisory, roadmap, and strategy execution.
• Strong working experience and act as SME with technical hands-on experience in
  • Microsoft Power Platform incl.
  • PowerApps,
  • PowerAutomate,
  • Dataverse,
  • Dynamics365.
• Overall understanding of M365 collaboration tools and the integrations
• Very good understanding of ITSM process and system such as ServiceNow.
• Strong experience in Incident, Problem or Change Management.
• Knowledge/Experience in Agile way of working.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with a wide range of users on different organisational and technical competency levels.

Good to have:

• Experience on AWS and Azure based Public Cloud Services.
• Experience from working in a large global complex organisation is an advantage.
• 2+ years of experience within the Pharma Industry, combined with general business understanding.
• General willingness to learn new IT products/services and project and service management processes.
