As an IT Application Support Engineer, you will be supporting enterprise IT applications in the SCM area, used by Siemens Healthineers Business Units worldwide. Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
IT Support and Technical Expertise
·Ensure IT application availability 24/7 as well as the application performance
oworking hours: 8/5 (Mo.-Fr., occasional on weekends)
oon-call: during nights and weekends in team rotation
·Provide 2nd level support within the Incident Management process (e.g. trouble shooting)
·Provide support within the Problem Management process (e.g. root cause analysis)
·Take care on the Access Management process
·Contribute to the Knowledge, Release and Configuration Management processes
·Perform the Escalation Management process
·Ensure and control backup and restore scenarios
·Configure and install enterprise IT applications
·Coordinate special technical requests with IT service providers
·Contribute to implementation of IT application architecture (technology, interfaces, landscape)
Quality/Compliance Management
·Contribute to accurate and up-to-date quality and end-user documentation
·Assist during internal and external audits
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
·Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Business Management
·2-5 years of experiences in operational IT Support especially in Incident and Problem Management
·Hands on experience with SaaS, web-based and cloud applications
·Superior verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
·Fluent in English
·Critical thinking and analysis skills with respect to varying customer and business processes and requirements as they relate to a larger picture
·Strong teamwork skills
·Structured, proactive, and self-directed work style
·Availability for on-call duty in team rotation

·Experience in Loftware “Spectrum” Label printing solution
·Experience in Healthcare industry business processes
