The role is part of the Infrastructure Operations Center of Excellence in Vadodara and will report to the Manager of that team. The role gets functional guidance from the infrastructure operations service owners.


Your Responsibilities



  • Contract Management: As a contract manager, you’llbethehelpinghandfor IS Service Ownersformanagingtheentirecontractlifecyclefor supplier contracts, like Cisco, Internet Service Providers, and other 3rd Party services and product contracts essential todelivering Infrastructure Operations services. This includesdrafting, negotiating on behalf of the Service Owner, and executingvariouscontracts.



  • Cleanup of Heritage Contracts: You’ll need to clean up existing contracts, especially those related to heritage agreements. This involves reviewing and assessing the terms, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance.



  • Global Scope: Your role extends globally, covering contracts for companies like Cisco, British Telecom, MarkIT, and local vendors.



  • SLAs and Support Channels: You’ll work to ensure that all parties involved understand the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and support channels outlined in the contracts.



  • Escalations: When necessary, you’lldrive escalations with vendors to address any issues or non-compliance.



Your Background



  • Contract Management Skills: Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts. 



  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate favorable terms for your organization. 



  • Legal Knowledge: Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to contracts. 



  • Organizational Skills: Managing multiple contracts and deadlines. 



  • Communication Skills: Clear communication with stakeholders regarding contract matters. 



  • Problem-Solving: Addressing contract-related issues effectively. 


  • Education: A degree in business administration, or a related field is preferred.



  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an operations administrator or similar role.



  • Accuracy: Ensuring contracts are executed accurately and in compliance with policies. 



  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers. 



  • Record Keeping: Maintaining records for correspondence related to contracts. 


  • Holistic View: Looking at the contract lifecycle from a holistic point of view.
