GPC-IPS Performance-Fund Accounting Manager – C12


Description


You will be part of the middle office operations team providing performance calculation and attribution analysis for our clients in the region. As a AVP, you will be responsible for ensuring that all the regional teams are producing and validating performance returns and attribution reports. You will also work closely with the onshore counterparts to establish global operating models and processes.


Key responsibilities include:


·Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as support mechanism for achievement including SMART goal setting


·Manage the regional teams and ensure that all deliverables are being delivered as per the agreed SLA.


·Identify training needs and provide it to the team members as per requirement.


·Identify and implement corrective action plans across teams while analyzing and assessing business risk


·Producing, reviewing and validating portfolio account performance calculations and performance reports associated with accounts, composites and managers.


·Creating customized reporting based on clients’ requirements; maintain, produce and review client composites according to SLAs and GIPS standards


·Participating in department projects and ensuring completion, as well as assist new clients on boarding and implementation processes


·Reviewing, updating and implementing new processes and procedures as required, to enhance operational controls


·Interfacing with Performance and index vendors.


·Experience in resolving data issues using Accounting systems and ability to understand the flow between accounting and performance systems.


·Serve as primary point of escalation for internal/external staff queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards


·Create, develop, and maintain business relationships, identify and implement service, system, and process enhancements, lead and evaluate system testing, and train staff on new technology enhancements.


·Support development and achievement of strategic goals and annual performance/compensation cycle as well as implement methods to reduce expenses, recommend enhancements, and justify benefits.


·Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications


Education:


·Master degree in Accounting, Finance or related field


·Pursuing/completed CIPM (Preference – not mandatory)


Performance Job Experience:


·13+ years experience in performance measurement operations or experience with account/security level performance in a related field


·Familiarity/Understanding of Segment, Security and Attribution Performance Reporting


·Familiarity/Understanding of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)


·Performance System Experience – Factset/StatPro (Preferred)
