We are currently seeking a senior professional to support a recent multi region win with a Client in the Financial Services sector.  The Project Management Group is a strategic oversight function within a broader operating model that has oversight of the Client’s capital projects programme.  This is a leadership role, interacting with members of the Client’s Corporate Real Estate Leadership team and other senior leaders within the Client organisation.


The roles and responsibilities of the Project Management Group are to act as a co-ordinating function consolidating the inputs from the Clients PMO provider(s) to track and report on performance of the regional programmes of work alongside the provision of effective governance and compliance with the Clients policies and processes.


The successful candidate will work closely with both Account Management and the Project Delivery office to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication with the Client.  This role requires strong team leadership, organizational, communication, and project management skills alongside a deep understanding of project management best practices.


The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading and mentoring1 individual within the Project Management Group.


Key Roles and responsibilities


  • Monitor and report on the performance of the  international project portfolio, ensuring line of sight on strategic initiatives, project pipeline, and providing routine and ad-hoc updates to the Client
  • Co-ordinate and interface with other functions within the Client’s operating model for the delivery of capital projects including account management functions and project delivery office teams
  • Act as an internal leadership point of contact for all queries in relation to delivery of the programmes
  • Work with sub-ordinate resources to identify critical project risks related to schedule, execution, and budget
  • Ensure adherence to the Client’s policies, processes and procedures, regional strategies, and real estate teams best practice tools and templates
  • Collaborate with various internal delivery stakeholders from business and from business support functions.
  • Represent JLL in Client forums and act as a point of contact for collaborating with the Client’s regional leads.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in project management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant project experience, including international experience outside of India
  • Previous experience in within a PMO for an Client in the Financial Services Sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project management of capital project works, governance models and relevant best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with regional and executive leadership / stakeholders within a global multinational
  • Digitally literate and an advanced user of dashboards, and other tools to effectively communicate complex information
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address project issues and unplanned events.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also being a team player.
  • The role is based in Mumbai and being currently based in Mumbai, or able to relocate full time is an essential requirement
