Intern- Data Analytics
Your role:
Responsibilities
As an Intern your role is to understand numbers, extract meaningful insights, and drive innovative business solutions; this will also include building robust data pipelines, ensure data quality & develop visualizations that make the stories hidden within the data transparent. Your key responsibilities include -
- Data preprocessing: Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical requirements. Clean, transform and organize raw data to make it suitable for analysis. Design and build data structures to provide efficient analytics.
- Visual Reporting: Develop, execute, consolidate, and share visual reports/dashboards/scorecards/review-packs.
- Build Models: Develop statistical or machine learning models that would provide valuable insights to the business problems. Review, enhance, redesign the models.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the functional stakeholders in data analysis and day-to-day problem solving in the supply chain supply chain and product configuration domain.
- Project Management: Lead development and usage of data science models (such as forecasting, regression, and simulation). Run full lifecycle of Analytics projects, providing rigorous feedback, and thought leadership in the supply chain and product configuration domain.
Technical Skills
- You have process and domain knowledge on finance, supply chain and product configuration.
- You can analyze complex business information from multiple perspectives to make strategic decisions.
- You have an extensive knowledge of analytics, data science and machine learning principles in theory and practice.
- You have high affinity with AI powered insight tools and engines and can apply to real time problems.
- You are adept with agile software life cycle development and project management.
- You are hands-on with or some of these tools -
Programming Languages: Python, R, SAS, and SQL
Statistics and Probability: Basic concepts and advanced data science algorithms (including NLP)
Database Management: Oracle, SQL Server, SAP ERP
Machine Learning and Data Science Concepts
Soft Skills
- You are an analytical thinker who understands data patterns, distributions, and statistical analyses.
- You solve complex problems by breaking them down into small ones, and roll-up the individual solutions.
- You apply design aesthetics and can create visualizations that are not only informative but are also engaging.
- You are highly committed and can deliver high quality outcomes on-time.
- You are excellent in communication and presentation skills and high on stakeholder engagements.
- You can work hands-on with a great attention to detail to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- You can weave excellent stories around the data being visualized which enable better decision-making.
Experience
- Min 3-4 yrs of experience required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/data science/mathematics from a top-tier institute (Mandatory)
- Certification in data visualization and tools (preferred)
- Certification in Data Science and Machine Learning (preferred)

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
