Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Vice President to join our team and provide leadership for our Risk data management and reporting initiatives within the International Consumer Bank (ICB). 


You will manage the ICB Risk Data team and play an integral role in driving strategic and operational data initiatives in partnership with our ICB Risk teams and cross-functional partners across ICB, as well as partners across the broader Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organisation. 


Job responsibilities:


  • Manage the International Consumer Banking Risk Data Team based in Bengaluru and Mumbai and drive the integration with other CCB Risk and Data teams in location. 
  • Functional ownership and management of priorities across ICB Risk stripes. 
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and data partners across the globe to deliver on ICB Risk data requirements. This includes fostering close partnerships with ICB cross-functional teams like Risk, Data Engineering, Data Tribe, Chief Data Office, Operations and CCB Risk Data peers. 
  • Represent ICB Risk Data at meetings and act as the point of escalation for data management issues. 
  • Chair the ICB Risk Data Oversight Forum (RDOF)
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, emerging trends and advancements in data visualization and analytics techniques.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role and a strong understanding of, and experience in, designing and implementing data models, dashboards and reports.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly within Consumer Credit and Fraud Risk domains.
  • Demonstrated experience in prioritising projects, problem solving and influencing stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex issues into actionable, high-quality solutions.
