Integrity & Compliance Specialist – INDIA
This position is part of the India Compliance team and is responsible for driving Integrity & Compliance (I&C) within the country.This position will support Compliance programs improvement, change management, drive and implement processes and controls to reduce risks. The position will work with the business in prevention, detection, and remediation activities to address regional risk factors and drive compliance within the business units. The position will play a critical role in conducting functional (anti-corruption, bribery, fraud etc) risk assessments. The postholder will use data / metrics to support monitoring and transactional testing.
The position will support the country team in implementing a tailored compliance program by working closely with senior leaders in the region to understand risks, drive improvements, develop, and deploy tools to monitor program effectiveness. The post holder provides relevant training to internal employees and external parties, conducts and/or supports on investigations in the region, and evaluates integrity and compliance trends both internal and external.
The postholder will be actively involved in regional Integrity & Compliance councils and will support the country team in preparing presentations and metrics for councils, leadership meetings and/or business reviews and implementing a communication plan on key I&C topics. The post holder will also work with a group of Ethics Ambassadors to increase awareness and reach of the compliance program in the region
The postholder will review due diligence requests and related risks of third parties, Gifts and Hospitalities, charitable contributions/sponsorship requests, conflict of interests, recruitment of high risk candidates to ensure compliance with our internal policies and laws.
The postholder will also work as part of a global team of compliance professionals to implement and develop the global I&C program and work on specific global projects.
YOU MUST HAVE
Min 4-5 years experience in a compliance, audit or law department preferably of a multi-national company. Additional compliance certifications will be helpful.
Experience in executing a risk-based compliance program. You should have knowledge and understanding of risk analysis and operation risk management , conducting monitoring and transaction testing, should have worked on implementing continuous monitoring and prevention framework.
Prior experience in conducting due diligence on third party intermediaries (e.g. distributors, sales reps, agents, channel partners, subcontractors and suppliers), audit, conducting investigations and providing training along with experience working with leaders and upper management is important. Knowledge and understanding of anticorruption laws and regulations, including U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and U.K. Bribery Act (UKBA), anti-trust laws and trade compliance a plus.
Conversance with digital compliance analytics tools and experience with a data-led compliance program is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills and hands on with MS office ( should be proficient in excel, power point, Macros)
