Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer with a focus on implementing the Transaxis payment platform. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the technical setup, configuration, and integration of the Transaxis system with client banking systems while ensuring compliance with various card schemes such as Visa and Mastercard.


Software Requirements:
  • Proficient in working with the Transaxis payment platform.
  • Strong understanding of integration techniques for payment systems.
  • Familiarity with banking systems and card scheme requirements.
Overall Responsibilities:
  • Configure the Transaxis platform for issuing and processing scheme cards.
  • Integrate external systems, particularly client banking platforms, with the Transaxis payment system.
  • Implement specific technical requirements to ensure compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and local card schemes.
  • Provide technical support throughout the implementation phase, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance.
Categorywise Technical Skills:

Technical Skills:


  • Extensive knowledge of the Transaxis (Compass Plus) platform.
  • Proficiency in system integration methods and integration with external banking systems.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements pertaining to major card schemes (Visa, Mastercard).
  • Experience in API integrations and configurations.

IT Skills:


  • Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in payment integrations (e.g., Python, Java, or .NET).
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL for data handling.
  • Understanding of network configurations relevant to payment systems.

Support Skills:


  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payment processing.
  • Expertise in system optimization practices to enhance performance.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate system integrations and configurations.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in payment systems integration or related roles, with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting payment platforms.
  • Proven track record of working with financial transaction systems or banking technologies.
  • Familiarity with card scheme compliance and regulations.
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Configure and customize the Transaxis platform based on client specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to integrate their banking systems with the Transaxis payment platform.
  • Monitor systems during the integration process to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct tests to ensure the setup is meeting compliance thresholds for card issuers.
  • Optimize system performance and provide ongoing technical support to clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • If applicable, certifications related to payment system integrations or banking technologies.
Soft Skills:
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and technical teams effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skill:Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to quickly resolve issues.
  • Adaptability:Flexibility to adapt to shifting technical requirements and client needs.
  • Collaboration:Proven ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to accomplish individual tasks.
