Job Title:Instrumentation Engineer
Summary:An experienced Instrumentation engineer capable of maintaining and troubleshooting DCS system (preferably ABB), field instruments like level, pressure, flow transmitter etc., and support the projects as an Subject matter expert for instrumentation.
Responsibilities Include:- Periodical maintenance and troubleshooting of ABB DCS Control system ·
- Calibration of all panel instruments & PSV's, Field instruments, level indicators / Controllers, Mass flow meters, Filling stations, control valves ·
- Maintenance of all the weighing systems in compliance to the weighs & measures act
- Update and maintain relevant documents as per QMS (ISO 9001:2015) and EMS (ISO 14001:2015) systems, preparation for internal and external audits and derive CAPA for the deficiencies. ·
- Ensure safety across all the activity and contribute to improve the safety culture by actively participating in different site EHS programs ·
- Maintain and Trouble shoot the Fire Alarm System (FAS) in the plant.
- Coordinate the SAP system as a plant representative and create Preventive maintenance plan, equipment addition etc. ·
- Monitor SAP notifications and take necessary actions towards closure.
- Generate One S report - daily, Weekly and monthly for the department, · Coordinate with DCS engineers to understand the requirement and provide support to improve the system operation.
- Monitor the MTTR & MTBF for the plant equipment and drive Root cause analysis for improving the KPIs ·
- Support Plant Project Management team as an SME for instrumentation in finalizing the technical specification for DCS and instruments.
- Coordinate and complete the assigned projects on time within Cost.
- Contribute to improve the plant sustainability by generating idea and converting it into real time project.
- Develop Training content to improve the skills of the shop floor support team ·
- Ensuring compliance to the statutory licenses regularly.
Qualifications:The following are required for the role
- Bachelors in Engineer (Instrumentation & Control or similar)
- 8 to 10 years of Industrial Experience in Chemical plant with DCS / PLC control
