About the position:
Leads a Team of I&E Reliability Eng's with the GCC Supporting 5x Refineries and 2x LNG plants. This role forms part of a larger Reliability and Integrity function. Activities are in support of our operating asset following the priorities of those assets. This role leads a team and technically contributes.

Implement existing Chevron processes and systems in support of required work activities
Specific to Instrumentation and electrical equipment this role conducts the following types of activities: Maintenance Strategy Development, optimisation, Refining MWI/ICMWI's, T&D, TQ/PQ for instruments, RIK assessments, Valve Health Monitoring, Perf Std reviews and updates, maintenance queries
Enable quality timely outputs in support of our operating facilities
Execute and Deliver workflows covering RE Equipment Monitoring and Reliability Engineering
Contribute to metrics showing performance of your teams against competitive performance measures
Execute Chevron's 'Performance Management Process' of cross your team and monitor across you sub teams
Work within local budget spend in providing Reliability Eng services
Ensure the base business work practices, applications, data, and tools are effective and efficient to meet Chevron and industry requirements
Monitors KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of equipment, work processes, data, and tools
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technical, Routine Maintenance, Turnaround, Projects, etc.) to achieve the RE Team, Department, and asset goals
Ensure lessons learned are shared and incorporated into the RE Team, Department, and assets as appropriate
Foster an inclusive environment both within the team and with the other functions and BU's
Manage the performance of the team by establishing clear goals and expectations, coaching, feedback, mentoring, and regular engagements
Ensure team works within budget
As a member of the leadership team, may occasionally fill the role of the Team Lead
The individual will be required to support other areas in the organization for vacation/relief coverage and/or support in additional work during times of significant planned/unplanned activities
Will be required to provide off-hours support as necessary to address emergent plant issue
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience providing I&E Reliability Eng Services in a complex oil and gas operating environment
Experience in a leadership position
Relevant advanced trade quals with grad level quals in Rel Engineering and experience in Rel Eng practices
Previous supervisor experience with a preference for Chevron employee supervision
Engineering Instrument / Electrical Degree in machinery, reliability, or related field
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
