This position is for an Instructional Designer on the Commercial Academy team. The ID will be primarily required to work with SMEs and within the sales ecosystem to design, develop and deploy quality solution training on AVEVA products, industry training, and soft skill training.
Responsibilities:
Implement theories and practices of Instructional Design to design and develop effective instructor-led training, web-based training, assessments, and learning paths for building desired competencies within the sales organizations and AVEVA partners.
Extensively use the Instructional Design experience during the complete training cycle – the end-to-end process of consultancy (need analysis), design and development, delivery/deployment, support, evaluation, and reporting.
Experience with content creation/scripting.
Communicates and coordinates with other stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts in the ecosystem such as sales, consulting services, R&D, and customer support located in various geographical locations to gather technical content.
Effectively extracts and interprets technical information from various sources.
Quickly learn AVEVA products, solutions, and process best practices to develop effective training/courseware.
Is flexible to work in time zones to coordinate with peers effectively and smoothly across the globe and can work independently with minimum supervision.
Reviews training content and provides ID/edit feedback to other instructional designers.
Adapts well to changing job and project requirements, such as managing changes to curriculum due to new releases and acquisitions.
Can efficiently and independently use and administer a Learning Management System.
Review, upload and manage repositories and knowledge management portals.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the fields of Instructional Design and Content Development with attention to detail.
Excellent fluency in the English language, both written and verbal communications.
Experience with the latest learning methodologies such as microlearning, game-based learning, and VR/AR will be necessary.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic matrix environment independently and effectively and participate, contribute, and in some cases, lead multiple efforts with stakeholders across the globe.
Proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Word, Excel), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Vyond (formerly Go Animate).
Ability to effectively communicate up and down the organization and with liaison partners.
Strong video creation, editing, and publishing skills are essential.
Preferred Skills:
Sales, technical or best practices experience in any AVEVA products and solutions.
Proven experience developing courseware, training materials, and technical content, including developing hands-on labs, using instructor-led workshops and classrooms and virtual learning environments like web-based training, online, instructor-led online, etc.

Hybrid working
