Job Description

This is an AVP-level position responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients including Private Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and other financial institutions based in Mumbai. The salesperson would be a key member of a dedicated India Institutional Sales team with a focus on FX, and an important contributor of the team's revenue. The successful candidate will be expected to grow our India presence with onshore and offshore clients for FX flow and structuring business, and would be expected to protect our clients and the franchise through a relentless commitment to control and governance build on the highest standard of personal ethics and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Actively cover a portfolio of clients (includes execution and backing up clients where needed) and be a leading contributor to the teams revenue
  • Back up team mates on other asset classes
  • Assist with the implementation of the broader strategy for the institutional client segment and develop appropriate regional strategies
  • Assist Senior Management interaction with Platinum and Priority clients in the region
  • Lead/Coordinate thought leadership content for our Investor clients in the region; includes leading macro dinners, bring resources from the global network to Asia etc.
  • Communicate regularly to Regional Heads, in addition to any other relevant senior managers on all aspects of the business; results, market themes, successes, issues
  • Stay on top of the regulatory and industry changes and competitive landscape
  • Adhere to and cascade all supervisory training and tools to create a culture of responsibility to our clients, our shareholders and each other
Qualifications:
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Highly driven and demonstrate willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of FX products. Basic structure/derivative product knowledge is a plus.
  • Always positive thinking, aggressive and good team player with a focus on governance.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and functional partners internally
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
