Inside Sales Account Manager

What you’ll achieve
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling Dell’s products and services while focusing on developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts. You will support the field sales leader while working effectively in a team environment towards goals.
You will:


  • Responsible for selling Dell's client, server, storage and hyper-converged products and services (via phone, web, or email) to specified customer segments or partners while ensuring a positive customer experience


  • Responsible for driving inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web interface, focusing on maintaining and expanding business relationships/market share with existing and new customers


  • Functions as the overall account manager, leading transactional sales, partnering with outside sales and/or the channel (as applicable) overall strategy, and execution


  • Main focus on new account development and/or expanding existing accounts. Leverages cross-functional resources to achieve results/meet customers/partners needs


  • Develops account relationships primarily with decision makers based on solution knowledge

Essential Requirements


  • Min. 4+ years of relevant sales account management experience


  • A proven track record in achieving sales targets


  • Highly motivated and results orientated


  • Ability to identify how Dell products and services aligned to customer needs


  • Ability to teach and coach others to improve performance including providing feedback and identifying development opportunities



Desirable Requirements


  • Experience or education related to IT


  • Indirect leadership skills with ability to motivate & engage others
