Summary of the Job:

This is a remote / territory sales position and is responsible for selling a portfolio of Siemens solutions and SaaS offerings, new customer's acquisition, and growing the relationship with existing customers-over virtual channels.


  • You will be the driving force behind growing and maintaining customer relationships in the digital era.
  • Apply your (Inside) Sales experience and passion for virtual tools to identify, nurture and close sales opportunities via digital channels and working closely with channel partners.
  • Embrace a technology-enabled selling approach, ensuring an outstanding customer experience through accurate information, training, and support.
  • Thrive in a multicultural team environment, collaborating with fellow team members, channel partners and leveraging other sales resources as needed.
Job Description
  • Selling the company’s products and/or services via virtual channels to customers and prospects.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
  • Build and manage opportunities from inception to close, take ownership of opportunities received from other teams like marketing, account development.
  • Develop and grow business at a large number of accounts, at one time, for a given portfolio or in an allocated territory.
  • Identify requirements, projects, competitive details and problems to determine if Siemens has applicable solutions!
  • Manage sales pipeline and report sales activities and KPI’s periodically.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, business development, presales, customer success teams, to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Use systems of record (like Sales Force) and Systems of action (like LinkedIn, Outreach).
Skills and EducationSales Expertise:
  • Demonstrated Inside Sales experience of 4-5 years, selling to small, mid-sized companies in India, and a passion to use virtual tools and channels.
  • Selling software solutions is an advantage.
  • Ability to generate prospective customers through follow up of sales leads and cold calling as assigned.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical requirements for specific solutions being sold.
  • Relentless focus on following up with decision makers and maintaining forward movement of the sales process throughout the sales cycle
Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills over phone and video calls are a must.
  • Ability to connect and engage with customers / prospects over phone, emails and other virtual tools.
Analytical Prowess:
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to demonstrate internal / external data to effectively plan and implement programs for customer acquisition.
Product Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Siemens Digital Industries product portfolio or similar products.
Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering. MBA is an added qualification
