Key job responsibilities
As specialist for innovation, you will have an exciting opportunity to lead customer engagements and to co-ideate with business stakeholders (C-Level and Line of Business Executives) to generate new digital capabilities with focus on India.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial enterprise technology sales environment, and working with cross functional teams as many parts of the program will have interdependencies with other teams within AWS.
Typically, cross-functional collaboration includes sales leadership, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, and sales enablement.
A day in the life
Your primary focus is to inspire and enable customers to leverage the transformative power of Acloud computing. You're the catalyst that ignites innovation within organizations, guiding them to reimagine their processes, products, and services using AWS's cutting-edge solutions.
On any given day, you might find yourself collaborating with customers from diverse industries, understanding their unique challenges, and crafting tailored solutions. You'll also serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate organizational change and cultivate a culture of innovation.
You'll be a storyteller, sharing real-world examples of how Amazon has re-invented industries. You'll attend conferences, lead workshops, and inspire the next generation of innovators.
And when the workday ends, your passion for innovation doesn't stop. You'll keep your finger on the pulse of emerging trends, exploring new services and solutions, and continuously expanding your knowledge to stay ahead of the curve. About the team
We help customers reach their innovation potential in line with our mission ‘Think Innovation, Think AWS’. We do this by engaging with C-level and line of business leaders and sharing learnings and best practices from how Amazon innovates and how this approach has led to multiple breakthroughs in our business. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- The right candidate will have experience in developing digital innovation opportunities for customers, excellent project management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias and good understanding of cloud solutions.
- The right person will have a proven ability to conduct workshops, deliver presentations to non-IT audiences with strong communication skills and the ability to think on their feet, along with an understanding of innovation methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking)
- Familiarity with the Indian business landscape, industry challenges, and the potential for digital transformation is a definite advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Proven experience of working with senior leaders in decision making positions
