As a Infrastructure Testing Senior Associate in the Managed Services Platform, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to test and identify complex infrastructure and platform issues from strategy through execution and beyond. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:
Evaluating and validating the hardware, software and other components of an IT infrastructure to ensure their reliability, performance, security and scalability.
Develop and implement test strategies to test:
VDI access and operations
Application services, Containers & Virtual Servers
Regression testing after IT migration or security updates
Testing of App gateways, DNS, Bastion hosts, routing, load balancing, etc..
Testing of service integrations between distributed systems and platforms
Collaborate with IT teams to address identified issues.
Perform White box and Recovery Tests
Provides testing support for the design, implementation and operation of the standard infrastructure applications backup, anti-virus, security, patching and monitoring
Strong understanding of infrastructure components, test tools and scripting languages
Designing Test Plans and Test Cases based on the infrastructure changes and impacted functional areas.
Taking care of the project’s testware (test cases, defects, testing checklists and other related artifacts).
Reporting & managing defects
Proven track record in managing and executing infrastructure testing and regression testing.
Experienced in using application and test management tools such as Jira and qTest, etc.
Being a game changer by finding any possible improvements to Test Process or even Tested Software.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Test Associate / Test Lead
At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure testing Skills, like Routing/Router protocol, Network, Network monitoring tools, Storage, Server/Application / Database /Data Center Migration or upgrade, Practical knowledge of preparing/designing, conducting and documenting tests,
Experience in building out and deploying containerized services with Kubernetes and cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
At least 3 years of experience in Operating System upgrade Testing
At least 3 years of System Configuration, Pre-Installation, Post Installation Testing
At least 3 years of experience in Unix Shell scripting, Perl scripting, batch job setup testing, automation testing
Possess a strong understanding of infrastructure components, such as servers, networks, storage systems, databases, and operating systems
Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, to automate infrastructure testing tasks
Experience with cloud deployment technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure or other cloud providers, Terraform, or related tools.
Experience with core access and identity components such as Active Directory
Certification in relevant areas (such as ITIL, VMware, Cisco) will be an advantage.
Experience with microservices, software delivery platforms, DevOps, continuous integration, and release management processes.
