The Telecom Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize medium to large projects according to the deadlines and budget set within the Telecom and Infrastructure space. This includes coordinating the efforts of project team members and third-parties in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Senior Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
· Manage overall Telecom program, including all associated medium to large Projects
· Create project plans, budgets, and manage project flows with little oversight or guidance · Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Leadership and stakeholders ·
· Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion ·
· Follow and utilize processes and procedures as defined by the PMO to manage project deliverables ·
· Properly communicate project status using the proper report format to Senior Leadership, project stakeholder, and project team members ·
· Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans ·
· Manage a wide range of telecom and infrastructures projects, including: 5G migration, VoIP Migration, Infrastructure Engineering, Store Moves/Adds/Changes/Deletes, EU Migrations, Inventory Management, Technology exploration, Device patching, SDWAN, training, policy/procedure creation and Incident management ·
· Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates and presentations on progress within the Cybersecurity program ·
· Track project financials and spending to provide reporting ·
· Actively alert leadership to project risks and issues ·
· Coordinate between global teams, creating meetings based on various time zones, organizing work efforts, manage work efforts in different countries
