Summary: VES is looking for an Infrastructure Analyst (IT) to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will play a critical role in the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on cloud migration, site setup, network configuration, and infrastructure security. This position involves end-to-end responsibility for infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion, including network and security configurations, firewalls, gateways, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, excellent project management skills, and experience working in large, cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of infrastructure services.

• Cloud Migration and Management:
  • Lead or support the migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments (preferably Azure).
  • Optimize cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and provide guidance for cloud infrastructure best practices.
• End-to-End Site Setup:
  • Plan, design, and execute full-scale IT infrastructure setups for new office or data center locations, including network, power, and connectivity.
  • Manage and configure physical and virtual server environments, ensuring high availability and redundancy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors for smooth setup and go-live.
• Network Setup and Configuration:
  • Design and implement network solutions including LAN/WAN, VPNs, routing, and switching.
  • Set up and configure network gateways, firewalls, load balancers, and other networking components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues, ensuring seamless communication across all sites.
• Infrastructure Security:
  • Implement security policies, protocols, and best practices to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure web gateways.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Project Management:
  • Manage infrastructure-related projects from initiation through completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams (DevOps, cybersecurity, operations) to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, installation, and setup of required hardware and services.
• Large Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with large, distributed IT teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, ensuring team growth and skills development.
• Problem Identification and Resolution:
  • Proactively identify infrastructure-related risks and inefficiencies, providing strategic solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Respond to critical infrastructure incidents, troubleshooting issues and leading root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Implement automation tools and processes to streamline problem resolution and enhance system performance.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL Foundation preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including hands-on experience with cloud migration, site setup, and network configuration.
• Proven experience in infrastructure security and working with firewalls, gateways, and VPNs.
• Experience in project management, particularly in handling large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong track record of working in large, multi-functional teams.
• Advanced knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, routers, and switches).
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with experience in Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different departments and with external vendors.
• Preferred certifications are- Azure Certified Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL Foundation Certification.
