Job Description

The Info Security Prof Group Mgr is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks.The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.
Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate application testing efforts that support protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business information that are stored and processed
  • Educate and advise business and technical leaders on the development, delivery and management of security solutions
  • Define and implement security policies and standards, and provide periodic Information Security (IS) management reports
  • Provide security oversight for major system designs and monitor the implementation of approved Corrective Action Plans
  • Plan and implement IS administration for Information Technology (IT) projects, and plan short to medium term IS actions and resources
  • Contribute to the evaluation and selection of applications and systems, focusing on IS implications
  • Manage a large/complex team or multiple teams, including the people, budget, policy formation, and strategy planning
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience with Databases preferred
  • Additional technical certifications preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

The Business Analytics Grp Manager is an analytics leader with experience in business analytics and information management across multi-process relationships who can demonstrate thought-leadership with a passion for translating data into action and business insights. Ideal candidate should have experience in leading and mentoring teams that will be analyzing large datasets; applying mathematical, statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to perform complex analyses and data mining. She/he should have the ability to translate and articulate complex thoughts and opportunities to a larger global audience. The Business Analytics Grp Manager is ultimately accountable for setting the global analytics and reporting strategy for Identity & Access Management (IAM).
Responsibilities:


  • Develop a clear vision and plan to support execution of IAM's analytics driven operation strategy
  • Develop and articulate a global strategy that stakeholders can implement, including an Analytics & Metrics road-map
  • Serve the data and reporting needs of internal and external stakeholders, as primary point of contact for required data and analytics insights
  • Create and own data analytics operating model by which others will operate
  • Demonstrable ability to proactively identify, understand and translate strategic business needs into technical opportunities and provide solutions
  • Apply in-depth understanding of how data analytics collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the entire function
  • Must demonstrably understand the data sources and analytical techniques that are used at an enterprise level
  • Responsible for the quality and definition of current and future operational and management metrics tracked and reported by IAM
  • Be a partner to all GIDA non-Service Delivery functions including Risk and Control, Business Strategy, Re-engineering, Automation and Project execution and provide analytical support and strategy
  • Use existing data for better categorization and classification, explore machine learning, deep learning, data mining, algorithmic foundations of optimization to will help run operations more efficiently
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made based on available data
  • Participate in financial planning and provide financial analytics relevant for running the global operations
  • Build forecasts/predictive models as required
  • Assessment and planning for adoption of suitable reporting tools and techniques as well as create an advantage for the business to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Lead and mentor Analytics Managers - Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise analytic managers, project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned
  • Develop and operate solutions that optimize and automate business decisions using large data sets and algorithms
  • Develop and articulate analytical framework to solve business challenges
  • Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of customer behavior
  • Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization

Qualifications:


  • 15+ years of overall experience
  • 6-10 years’ experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets
  • Experience in financial services
  • Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, data mining, algorithmic foundations of optimization
  • Fair knowledge of tools (specifically R/Python, SQL) used in statistical analysis
  • Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems
  • Significant experience leading and innovating in the areas of metric definition, dashboard creation and provide meaningful insights through a series of appropriate business intelligence, analysis, models and strategies
  • Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data
  • Solid Experience and knowledge of technical analytics, including data preparation, analytics concepts, analytical model development, model operationalization, model performance measurement, model management and model training
  • Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities
  • An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical leaders with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong speaking and presentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate actively & effectively with multidisciplinary team
  • A team player with passion, initiative, and leadership ability
