Job Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our GL team. You will be responsible for Financial reporting, Consolidation, Internal Control reporting, Analytical review along with Audit Support
What you’ll do:
- Preparation of Financial Statements for Group.
- Preparation of variance analysis reports for Management reporting
- Preparation & review of BRS
- Prepare group recharge invoices and relevant workings
- Support Group accounts team in consolidation
- Assist and Support AR/AP/Treasury for completing your GL reporting
- Prepare step-by-step Walkthrough of Finance Policies and Manual including maintenance and updating to reflect the accounting and reporting requirements.
- Supporting regions by aiding in adherence to framework of accounting and quality of reporting.
- Maintaining integrity of the financial systems
- Support Internal team and Onshore team with your Knowledge of Financial Accounting
Who you are:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA(SA/CMA/MBA) (or equivalent)) with 5+ years of experience
- Experience in Financial reporting and preparation of full set of Financial Accounts, an eye for detail and strong Analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, consolidation and statutory accounting
- Experience in working on a GL accounting system
- Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language (oral and written)
- Experience of working within an SME environment with conflicting organisational and project priorities
- Knowledge of the shipping agency industry would be an added advantage.
