We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager in our Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) located in Chennai, the position holder will be responsible for managing the entire local finance operations
and supporting the global group holdings GL closing.
Ensure effective and efficient management of the local books of accounts, finalization of accounts, and invoice
generation. Prior experience in a finance shared services entity with R2R, P&L reviews, and Audits. Experience in
maintaining fixed asset registers, liaison with auditors, Balance sheet reconciliations, and reviews. Good hands-on
Oracle-HFM and MS-Excel, Powerpoint.
Finance Process Management & Reporting
• Responsible for book closure and finalization of monthly accounts.
• Month-end data upload to Hyperion and preparation of management report packs.
• Liaison with bankers and vendors.
• Analysis of variances in profit and loss accounts.
• Payroll working and payroll reconciliation experience along with regulatory payroll filings
• Having a good understanding of Balance sheet reconciliation and substation and aging calculation.
• Working with internal auditors, external auditors, and tax inspectors/investigations
• Ensure that all Inter-company invoices are prepared as per the group timelines
• Responsible for Group Inter-company recharges – Invoicing and accounting and related reconciliations.
• Ensure inter-co differences are communicated proactively and resolved before finalization.
• Data analysis and information provision to various stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS - Accounting Standards.
• Having a good understanding of IFRS majorly on Revenue recognition, Lease Accounting & Consolidation of
Financial statements.
• Having a good understanding of Transfer pricing aspects.
• Experience in leading a team & Support Group-wide initiative.
• Ensure financial control, compliance, and transparency according to ISS’ corporate policy and
statutory requirements across the Group and shared service entities.
• Led and managed a finance team of people including both experienced and freshers as well.
Cash flow & treasury management
• Working closely with Global finance teams
• Working with country operations on supplier management by following Group procurement policy
Governance and Compliance
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with corporate Handbook, Quality &/or any other document.
Finance Practice
• Co-responsible for the overall control system and environment with Area General Manager
• Ensure local statutory compliance on corporate, tax, and ROC matters
HR and company sector
• Working closely with local payroll providers to ensure accuracy and timely payroll process.
Essential:
• Advanced IT skills (MS - Query/ Excel)
• Indian tax experience
• Quick self-learner

• Fluent in English
• Experience working in a multi-national/international Company.
Desirable:
• Experience in Ship and Port agency-related fields.
• Knowledge of UNIT4 accounting system.
Essential:
• CA/CMA with 7+ years of experience.
