Purpose of Job:


The Position directly reports to Area Finance Manager – SA. The position is responsible for day to day operational Finance activities. Deliverables include collation of information from PAN India operational locations, Ensuring posting entries on day to day basis and Port related Statutory payments


What you’ll do:


Cash Flow Management


  • Ensuring prefundings received from Principals before making Port/Vendor payments.
  • Daily preparation of Fund Tracker
  • Ensuring timely completion of Receipt Postings on daily basis.

Vendor Management


  • Resolve queries from Vendors w.r.t. their SOAs alongside AP Team.
  • Advising AP Team w.r.t. rate of TDS/ Volume Rebates based on the Vendor Contracts/agreements.
  • Review of Vendor Reconciliations done by AP Team. Ensuring timely payments to Vendors.

Month end Reporting


  • Ensuring Monthend deliverables are achieved w.r.t. Bank reconciliations
  • Ensuring all Vendor Invoices are accounted for the month
  • Preparing monthly Overhead Provisions

Statutory Compliance


  • Ensuring timely payments of Port related Statutory payments.
  • Ensuring timely payments of TDS, Advance Tax, GST , Provident Fund, Gratuity, Super Annuation Fund.
  • The job holder will be responsible for managing end to end daily operational Finance activities of ISS Shipping Services Pvt Ltd. Will also be responsible for implementing policies and procedures under the scope of Finance function.

Who you are:


Knowledge, Experience and Skills:


Essential:


  • Minimum experience of 1– 2 years in operational Finance
  • Proven track record
  • Excellent operations ability
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong people management
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Language proficiency – Both English & Hindi

Desirable:


  • Knowledge and experience in Unit 4 would be an added advantage.
  • Shipping industry experience
