Job Description

We are seeking an Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager to oversee technical services in our facilities management team, with a focus on built environment digitalization. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of critical systems, including HVAC, access control, and CCTV, while driving digital transformation initiatives. Strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to sustainability are essential.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Technical Administration:
    • Oversee maintenance and operation of Security systems (Access control, and CCTV systems)
    • Coordinate technical facilities management within the Campus
  • Digitalization Initiatives:
    • Lead the implementation of digital solutions to enhance the management of the built environment.
    • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Obtain quotations for maintenance and improvement works.
    • Report to the Facilities Manager on vendor performance and project status.
  • Preventive Maintenance:
    • Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance and repairs for all technical systems.
    • Assist in developing and managing an effective preventive maintenance plan.
  • Compliance and Audits:
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001 standards.
    • Maintain internal guidelines for technical activities.
  • Energy Conservation:
    • Implement energy conservation projects and sustainability initiatives.
  • Emergency Support:
    • Provide 24-hour emergency support and respond to urgent situations.
    • Be familiar with processes and procedures for emergency response.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain a logbook of work activities, system failures, and necessary spare parts.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform other tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

Education:


  • BE/B. Tech in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or
  • Diploma in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Skills:


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective interaction with service providers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Basic LAN skills and familiarity with network systems.

Technical Proficiency:


  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), CCTV, and HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Experience with digital tools in facilities management is highly desirable.
