Responsible for Incoming inspection and Purchasing Quality Assurance, Claims Management at Bosch, Gangaikondan (GanP) plant.
1. Responsible for "Purchase Quality Assurance -Complaint Management" and Single Point Of Contact for Value Stream
2. Enable a clear supplier quality improvement strategy along other stake holders based on the quality performance trends, gap analysis, focus areas for poor quality contributing suppliers.
3. Drive Preventive measures for series components Q-issues & Top contributors, Negotiations for high defect cost recovery due to supplier part Q issue.
4. Experience in Extensive use of Q Tools and complete Awareness of 8D Steps of Problem Solving.
5. Complaint investigation by various measurement techniques.
6. New Initiatives & innovations to improve speed & efficiency in the Process through automation.
7. Conduct measurements, inspections, and tests to verify product specifications and identify defects or deviations.
8. Participate in new product development projects, providing input on quality and measurement requirements
BE in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Automobile Engineering.
Competencies Required:
1. Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and BoM
2. Competent in planning of measurements with first principles and gauges
3. Knowledge on usage of FMR like CMM, O-Inspect, Form tester etc.
4. Know-how on complaint handling, 8D methodology, Statistical techniques including GRR.
5. PPAP procedure
6. Working Experience in SAP-QM module.
7. Proficiency is MS PowerBI or other data analytics tools
8. Proficiency in MS-Office.
