Job Title: Process/Test Engineer – In-Circuit Test (ICT)


Location: Naganathapura Bangalore, India

Job Overview:


We are looking for an experienced Process/Test Engineer specializing in In-Circuit Testing (ICT) to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in test fixture ordering, program generation, fine-tuning, and validation to enhance manufacturing efficiency. The candidate should have a strong background in analog and digital electronics, test coverage analysis, and ICT machine expertise.


Key Responsibilities:


1. ICT Development and Process Support:


  • Develop, fine-tune, and validate ICT programs for automotive electronic products.
  • Ensure ICT fixture ordering, installation, and verification for manufacturing use.
  • Conduct test coverage analysis and drive improvements in ICT processes.
  • Perform correlation studies between different test stations to optimize test processes.

2. New Project and Manufacturing Support:


  • Collaborate with hardware engineering teams for seamless test integration.
  • Provide Design for Testability (DFT) recommendations during product development.
  • Implement test solutions for new product launches and ensure smooth ramp-up.
  • Conduct First Pass Yield (FPY) analysis and drive corrective actions for improvement.

3. Measurement & Analysis:


  • Perform Cg/Cgk and GRR analysis for measurement system validation.
  • Conduct strain measurement and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) analysis and provide reports.
  • Support signal integrity analysis and power supply stability checks.

4. Equipment & Technical Expertise:


  • Expertise in SPEA Inline ICT machines, IPTE Test handlers, Teradyne, and Agilent ICT Testers and SPEA FPT machines
  • Troubleshoot test hardware/software failures and optimize test parameters.
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of ICT systems to ensure accuracy.

5. Training & Process Improvement:


  • Train maintenance engineers and production teams on ICT system operation and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical documentation, work instructions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Technical Skills:


✅ Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
✅ 3–5 years of experience in ICT program development and manufacturing test support.
✅ Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics components.
✅ Hands-on experience with Teradyne, Agilent, and SPEA Inline ICT machines.
✅ Familiarity with FPY improvement techniques, test coverage optimization, and ICT debugging.
✅ Proficiency in Cg/Cgk, GRR analysis, strain measurement, and ESD analysis.
✅ Good understanding of PCB design, signal integrity, and electrical measurements.
✅ Ability to analyze and improve test strategies for defect detection and fault coverage.
✅ Knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages (Python, LabVIEW, etc.) is a plus.

➤ Experience in automotive electronic manufacturing and compliance testing.
➤ Hands-on experience with Boundary Scan Testing (BST) and Functional Test (FCT).
➤ Knowledge of Industry 4.0, data analytics in testing, and AI-driven process optimization.



Qualifications

Full time Engineering Degree with Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronics or instrumentation engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
