Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. Job Description
- Hands-on experience with Halcon and NeuroCheck vision systems for industrial automation and quality control.
- Proficient in working with FOBA and Keyence laser marking systems and scanners.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements, engineering principles, and customer specifications, while adhering to Bosch standards and process guidelines in the manufacturing process.
- Oversee production readiness for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR), including preparation, validation, and documentation.
- Provide 2nd-level support for resolving machine downtime, with a focus on developing concepts to maximize machine uptime.
- Drive defect prevention and reduction initiatives both internally and externally for customer satisfaction.
- Lead and implement process improvement initiatives targeting productivity, such as cycle time (CT) reduction, tool life extension, and localization of tools and Machine & Equipment (MAE).
- Maintain close collaboration with all relevant departments within the production network, extending beyond ongoing projects.
- Optimize production processes to improve quality and efficiency through the application of statistical methods, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Actively participate in and support process audits, and contribute to customer audits as needed.
- Support production teams in addressing yield, quality, delivery, cycle time, and failure analysis issues.
- Provide guidance and training to service and maintenance technicians.
Qualifications
B.E / B.Tech with 3 years of experience
Additional Information
- In-depth knowledge of relevant processes, along with expertise in problem-solving methodologies and conducting root cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with optical inspection systems,pneumatics, electrotechnics, and the application of statistical methods.
- Proficient in documentation preparation for production processes, including control plans and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Strong understanding of Lean production systems and IPC requirements for Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong time management and analytical skills.
