Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products. Job Description
- Responsible for purchasing quality assurance of die casting parts and its production process.
- Plan, execute, oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables.
- Investigate product complaints, identify root cause, and reported quality issues within the CFT team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer, and warranty) and instigate permanent corrective actions.
- Enabling safe launch inspection process for new parts for incident free launches.
- Documentation of defect analysis with 8D report on TRC and MRC for closure.
- Use problem logs to identify and report the recurring issues to ensure the closure accordance to the company guidelines.
- Monitoring the KPIs related to complaint management, inspection, and define measures to achieve the KPIs.
- Responsible for new part release w.r.t engineering drawing review, In-house measurements, and measurement co-relation with supplier
- Active Participation in the Process FMEA’s, Process audit and Supplier Assessment.
- Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis
Qualifications
B.E (Mech. Eng / Automobile Eng / Mechatronics Eng)
Additional Information
Functional Competencies :
- Experience in manufacturing process of mechanical parts – Aluminum Die casting (ADC), Stamped drawn parts (SDP), Plastic molding parts / SMT / PCB, Tools & Die
- Good knowledge and experience in Problem solving tools (8D, A3PSS, etc..).
- Good knowledge on Engineering drawing, standards, and measurement practices etc.
- Knowledge on Basics of Electronics & Semiconductor is an added advantage
- Demonstrated knowledge of implementing best practices on defect management processes and ability to drive quality initiatives within the supply chain.
