Job Description: Import Executive for Logistics Department in MNC
Job Title:
Import Executive

Salary:
₹35,000 to ₹40,000 per month
Location:
Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure the accuracy and completeness of import documentation.
Prepare and review documents to comply with customs laws and trade regulations.
Collaborate with HQ logistics and Customs House Agents (CHA) for seamless documentation and operations.
Ensure adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, and tariff codes.
Stay updated with changes in international trade regulations and tariffs.
Monitor shipments and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders for timely cargo movement.
Utilize knowledge of Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPA) to secure custom duty benefits.
Maintain detailed records of import activities for audit and reference purposes.
Prepare periodic reports and updates for department heads and management.
Identify and resolve issues related to shipping, customs, or documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
Certification in Import/Export or Logistics will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, trade laws, and international shipping protocols.
Proficiency in working with CEPA and other trade agreements for duty benefits.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle tight schedules and multiple shipments.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data management.
