Job Title
As an Implementation Engineer, you will serve as the onsite technical manage during project implementations, working closely with the Project Manager. You will provide product knowledge, installation, and infrastructure skills for Amadeus Airport IT self-service products. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development life cycle and involves documenting interfaces, managing test plans, and ensuring the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing projects.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage technical aspects during project implementations.
You’ll provide knowledge and skills in the installation and infrastructure of Amadeus Airport IT self-service products.
Document and manage interfaces across each product's project scope.
You’ll oversee the software development life cycle from preliminary system analysis to testing and deployment.
Create and document test plans and test cases for each product within the project scope.
You’ll Take onsite accountability for the complete delivery of customer-facing projects, focusing on software, testing, and go-live phases.
Act as the site manager to deliver PPS solutions, coordinating with Amadeus, customer teams, and third-party subcontractors.
You own and resolve any identified technical issues.
Manage the implementation and rollout of common use and self-service products.
You facilitate customer testing phases, including Airline Acceptance Testing, UAT, SAT, and ORAT.
Work with operations and customer service teams during issues and cutovers.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working on airport and/or airline projects, including CUPPS, CUSS kiosks, SSBD, Automated Boarding Gates, and PRS. Along with Business and IT operations understanding of airport business processes, airport IT, ground handlers, airlines, common use products, incident change and the travel industry.
Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving, designing solutions, and contributing to team goals.
Worked independently and collaboratively leveraging on your technical skills, conducting package tests ensuring software quality and customer focus.
You are familiarity with Windows OS, versioning control, client/server architecture, and hardware/electrical components of airport self-service equipment.
Can initiate and lead new approaches, proactively address risks, and manage change with a future-oriented view.
Capable to developing strong relationship-building skills at all levels with customers and between technical and non-technical teams paired with strong execution and organizational skills.
