The team is responsible for data management and reconciliations automation using FIS platforms for BPaaS customers.
- Examine data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of customers and complete data mapping and transaction workflows as the basis for conversion to FIS systems.
- Advanced professional role having broad expertise of technology platforms required for the role.
- Uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
- Works independently on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
- Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Expected to be primary mentor for others on staff and is a role model for rest of team.
- Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge.
- Identifies and provides solutions to complex mapping or interface requirements of unique projects and examines data field conversion requirements.
- Evaluates and tests all complex processing and interface requirements of unique customization work.
- Identifies additional opportunities to provide more products, services or other resources to customer.
- Participates as a senior member in strategic planning and direction.
- Develops, documents, and implements standards, guidelines, direction and education on process/procedures for staff.
- Assigned to the most highly visible, sensitive, and critical projects and may be used in a consulting capacity.
- Typically requires a minimum of six plus years implementation and/or conversion experience with a demonstrated ability to handle high project complexity.
Technical skills:
- Configuration and setup of reconciliations on enterprise applications – FIS Data Integrity Manager (Formerly IntelliMatch) or other tools like Smart Stream TLM, Gresham CTC (Required)
- Data analysis and automation - Strong database skills with understanding of DML and DDL commands and able to write complex stored procedures. (Required)
- Data management and file preprocessing – Hands on experience of reviewing different type of file sets and mapping, transforming, and importing data using ETL tools (e.g. DataStage / Informatica) or general-purpose scripting (like Batch, Perl, etc.) (Required)
- Business Intelligence reporting – Hands on experience of exporting data from SQL databases using tools like SAP Crystal Reports or Business Objects (Preferred)
- Ticketing and Workflow – Hands on knowledge of ServiceNow and JIRA (Preferred)
Functional Skills and Knowledge that you bring:- Understanding of all modules for desktop and web application of Intellimatch or similar applications
- Understanding of post trade reconciliations in Banking and Financial Services
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Complex issue triage, investigation, and coordination to closure
- Coordinating UAT support and problem solving
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Excellent written & oral communication
Job Description (What you will be doing):- Face off with business teams and client services on projects for requirements gathering and analysis.
- Work on new client conversions and enhancements, code changes for existing clients.
- Participate in corporate initiatives and technical system upgrades.
- Configuration and setup of reconciliations on FIS platforms
- Create and maintain specifications and documentation.
- System Integration Testing and Unit testing
- Training end users on application functionality
- UAT Co-ordination and Change management
- Co-ordination of upstream and downstream IT teams
- Participation in stand-up meetings
- Resolving technical issues and supporting functional user queries where required
- Participating in production implementations and warranty support
- Supporting and maintaining the recons for ongoing changes
