JOB PURPOSE:


As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Cybersecurity Governance Risk and Compliance Lead to join our dynamic team.


The Cybersecurity GRC Lead is responsible for overseeing the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance activities related to information security. This role ensures that the company's cyber security policies and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


The newly created Ice Cream Technology function will drive the technology set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required technology capabilities to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever.


The Cybersecurity GRC Lead is therefore overseeing that the IT security framework will be defined, setting in place the appropriate governance, risk and compliance framework for the IC organisation, both for newly created IT IC solutions and for Unilever systems under TSA, ensuring that the cyber security standards and policies are met and operationalized for the IC company.


The successful candidate will be one that has significant IT expertise with a proven record of leading large-scale Cybersecurity transformations and has a passion for building world class IT security standards that make a meaningful impact.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Governance:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain cyber security policies, standards, and procedures.


  • Ensure during TSA period that UL IT security standards are upheld and applied


  • Ensure alignment of security policies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.


  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of security policies and procedures.


Risk Management:


  • Identify, assess, and prioritize cyber security risks across the organization.


  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.


  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure ongoing risk management.


Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).


  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits related to cyber security.


  • Maintain documentation and evidence of compliance activities.


Leadership and Collaboration:


  • Share learnings and expertise within team of cyber security professionals.


  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to cyber security.


  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of the cyber security program.


Incident Management:


  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan.


  • Lead the response to cyber security incidents and breaches.


  • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement lessons learned.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and best practices.


  • Excellent knowledge of risk management and compliance standards.


  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and audits.


  • Strong leadership and team management skills.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.


Required Experience:


  • Degree in Information Technology, or a related field.


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cyber security, with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance.


  • Experience in developing and implementing cyber security policies and procedures.


  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are highly desirable.
