Position: IBP Demand Planning Integration Designer
Experience: 3- 5 Years
Location: Pune
Overview: We are looking for a well-rounded resource for our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team with a strong background in SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), specifically in implementing Demand Planning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP IBP configuration and integration, as well as a solid understanding of related SAP modules. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support: Act as a support resource to business teams during each project phase, serving as a backup to Global Information Management (GIM) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Requirement Gathering: Capture and analyze requirements from business stakeholders to translate them into effective IBP solutions.
Configuration & Implementation: Lead the setup and configuration of SAP IBP Demand Planning, including:
Forecasting and Demand Management
Inventory Planning & Optimization
Full flow configuration of the IBP Demand Planning process
Data Management: Configure and manage SAP IBP elements, including attribute setup, master data, time profiles, key figures, versioning, and planning area activation. Ensure the Microsoft Excel Planning View is properly set up.
Integration Design: Develop and implement interface designs between SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and IBP for seamless data transformation.
Realignment and Forecasting Models: Apply knowledge of realignment processes, Lifecycle Management (LCM), and forecasting models specific to packaging solution businesses.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, users, and business partners worldwide, ensuring effective communication and integration.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP roadmaps for IBP and related modules to inform strategic planning and implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
SAP IBP Expertise:
At least 2-3 successful implementations of SAP IBP platforms in manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Demand Planning and additional IBP modules like Forecasting, Demand Management, and Inventory Planning.
Configuration Skills:
Proficient in configuring and setting up the entire SAP IBP Demand Planning process.
In-depth knowledge of IBP master data, attribute setup, time profile, key figures, versioning, and planning area activation.
Integration Experience:
Strong experience in designing interfaces between SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and IBP, focusing on data transformation.
Solid background in SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and APO Demand Planning, with integration knowledge.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with global colleagues, users, and business partners.
SAP Knowledge:
Awareness of SAP's roadmap for IBP and other modules to guide business decisions and future integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Certifications: SAP IBP certification or relevant certifications in SAP APO.
Project Management: Experience working in agile project environments.
Industry Insight: Knowledge of packaging solution businesses and demand planning best practices.
