Job Title: IAM Test Analyst


Experience Required:4 to 7 Years
 


Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IAM Test Analyst with a strong background in functional and automation testing within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Cybersecurity domains. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with SailPoint products and a proven track record of implementing test automation strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively contribute to the quality assurance processes within our IAM initiatives.


Overall Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional and automation testing of IAM solutions, focusing on SailPoint and other enterprise applications.
  • Onboard and integrate enterprise applications with IAM systems, ensuring compliance with IAM/Cybersecurity standards.
  • Develop and implement test automation strategies using Selenium and BDD frameworks, integrating them with CI/CD tools.
  • Create and execute test cases, document results, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Agile test strategies, emphasizing best QA engineering practices and risk-based prioritization.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of Identity and Access Management processes and controls.
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of test processes and demonstrate expertise in automation practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IAM and Cybersecurity testing.
Categorywise Technical Skills:

Testing Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional and automation testing, specifically within IAM/Cybersecurity domains.
  • Proven experience in testing and integrating enterprise applications with IAM systems.

Automation Skills:


  • Strong experience in implementing test automation usingSeleniumandBDD frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to support continuous delivery.

IAM Knowledge:


  • In-depth understanding of Identity and Access Management processes and controls.
  • Hands-on experience withSailPointproducts and security/access control applications.

Coding Proficiency:


  • Proficient understanding of at least one programming language, preferablyJava.

Agile Methodologies:


  • Proven experience working in Agile environments, contributing to iterative testing and development processes.
Experience:
  • 4 to 7 years of IT experience, focusing on functional and automation testing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IAM/Cybersecurity testing, particularly with SailPoint.
  • Experience working in a security domain and familiarity with best practices in QA engineering.
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for IAM solutions.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress, defects, and overall quality metrics.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IAM integrations and functionality.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT or computer-related discipline.
  • Relevant IT or business certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented environment.
