As a member of the Rockwell Automation IT organization, you will join our journey as we seek to transform into a fully digital business model. The Full Stack Application Engineer will design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable platforms to build our key systems and services throughout the company. This role is the face of IT’s engineering organization to the company and critical to delivering business recognized value.  You will be part of Digital Engineering capability team to transform Rockwell Ecommerce strategy leveraging SAP Commerce, Salesforce and custom applications and will lead technical development across the capability.In this role you will:
  • Work with a team of engineers, technical leaders, analysts to enable new features for internal and external customers, while keeping our applications secure and stable.
  • Prototype, design, build/deliver and steward resilient platforms for a business capability
  • Perform peer-level architectural reviews
  • Interpret functional requirements into technical solutions and author technical design docs.
  • Mentor others in technologies, tools, and processes
  • Operate in an agile capability team where quality and security are built into daily work and we make time to help others improve their environment as well.
  • Attack roadblocks and impediments to delivering incremental value
  • Serve as the go-to person for triaging system anomalies (bugs, security, performance)
  • Aggressively drive out technical debt and build feedbacks into your system.
  • Shape our future by presenting your own designs to groups across IT and the company while reviewing designs of others
  • Develop test strategies in collaboration with QA engineers, design automation frameworks, and write unit /functional tests to improve coverage and automation metrics.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) 2105+ development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with CCV2, OCC, Hybris Admin Console (HAC), DataHub, Hot Folders, Backoffice, Smart Edit, Impex, Scripting (Groovy, beanshell), Backoffice customization, Business process and headless commerce
  • Strong SQL, Java, Spring, Hibernate skills
  • 4+ years of experience working in an API driven environment.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a DevSecOps environment where you build it, you support it
  • 2+ years of frontend experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with SOLR search engine.
  • 2+ years of integration experience working with SAP CRM/ SAP ECC
Preferred Qualifications:SKEE
  • 2+ years’ experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices including Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), SLAs/SLOs, Error Budgets, Toil elimination
  • 2+ years of Java/JavaScript development experience with either Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or SalesForce Configure,Price,Quote (CPQ)
  • 1+ year of experience working with MuleSoft or other similar middleware
  • Experience in automated testing, including unit and functional, testing with tooling such as Selenium, Tricentis, Cucumber, or other opensource frameworks.
  • Some experience instantiating cloud platforms services (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
  • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of a business area to resolve problems on an ongoing business. Supports several moderately complex business processes in area of Purchase to Deploy.
IPC
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to distil information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the story behind it, as well as recommendations for next steps.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
  • Certifications in any of the Ecommerce technologies but specifically: SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Commerce Cloud Business User, SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Customer Data Cloud or SAP Certified Development Professional - SAP Hybris Commerce 6.2
