We are looking for a HVAC Expert.
We are seeking an experienced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) expert to join our Siemens Building Technologies team as a consultant. In this role, you will leverage your deep domain expertise in HVAC systems to contribute to the development of our AI-powered products and the maintenance of our Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) rules.
You’ll make a difference by having below skills.
1. FDD Rules Development and Maintenance:
   - Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) rules for HVAC systems.
   - Continuously review and update FDD rules based on industry standards, customer feedback, and emerging technologies.
   - Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of FDD rules in identifying and diagnosing HVAC system faults and anomalies.
   - Provide training and support to the technical team on the application and maintenance of FDD rules.
2. AI Product Development:
   - Provide subject matter expertise on HVAC systems, equipment, and controls to the AI product development team.
   - Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define the technical requirements and architecture of AI-based HVAC solutions.
   - Assist in the development and testing of AI models, algorithms, and applications for HVAC optimization, predictive maintenance, and energy efficiency.
   - Help translate complex HVAC domain knowledge into machine-readable formats for AI and machine learning models.
3. Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration:
   - Share your HVAC expertise with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and sales professionals.
   - Contribute to the development of technical documentation, training materials, and customer-facing resources.
   - Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
   - Foster a collaborative environment and promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
You’ll win us over by:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Having Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and controls.
• Having Proven expertise in developing and implementing Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD) rules for HVAC systems.
• Being Familiar with building automation systems, energy management, and building performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience working with AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in the context of HVAC applications.
•  Possessing Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills. Having Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
