KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Support and Guidance


  • Provide one-on-one and group support to individuals with personal, emotional, or professional challenges.
  • Act as the first point of contact for welfare-related concerns.
  • Signpost individuals to appropriate internal or external resources (e.g., counseling, healthcare).

2. Program Coordination


  • Develop and deliver initiatives or programs to promote well-being, such as workshops, seminars, or social activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments or organizations to ensure access to welfare services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of welfare initiatives and suggest improvements.

3. Crisis Management


  • Respond promptly to welfare or safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive situations.

4. Policy and Compliance


  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and best practices concerning welfare and safeguarding.
  • Keep up to date with relevant laws and guidelines.

5. Communication and Reporting


  • Act as a liaison between individuals and management, advocating for welfare needs.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and document welfare cases accurately.
  • Deliver welfare-related training sessions to staff or volunteers when required.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive issues discreetly.
  • Knowledge of welfare policies, safeguarding practices, and mental health awareness.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing and record-keeping. 

Preferred Requirements:


  • Diploma or Graduation.
  • Minimum experience in a welfare, social work, or support role.

Working Conditions:


Office Based, however, may require site visits.
