We are currently seeking an HR System Administrator Intern to join our Pune office. In this role, you'll work closely with a senior mentor to develop technical skills and gain valuable experience, while collaborating with a diverse international team locally and globally.


During this internship, you'll support the Workforce Technology Solutions (WTS) team  by assisting with the maintenance of Red Hat’s internal HRMS system (Workday) by supporting level 1 and 2 issues and escalating issues to the Configuration team or Product Owners as necessary. You will also assist with the collection, retrieval, updating, accessibility, and management of associate data to support HR planning and operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide data administration and support for SaaS-based platforms, ensuring smooth system maintenance and troubleshooting technical issues. 


  • Track HR system performance and resolve Level 1 and 2 issues; escalate more complex problems to the Configuration Team or Product Owners as necessary.


  • Support the testing of new systems, applications, updates, and data conversion processes.


  • Partner with internal business owners to identify opportunities to optimize system usage and improve HR processes.


  • Develop and update HRIS functional documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system documentation.


  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and training materials for HRIS systems.


  • Administer audits to maintain data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with internal and external regulations.


  • Maintain and protect associate data by keeping HR information confidential


What you will bring:
  • Basic knowledge of HR Management Systems (Workday preferred), including data entry, administrative tasks, and report writing and/or s with a strong willingness to learn.


  • Familiarity with SaaS-based platforms, system maintenance, and tools like ServiceNow (SNOW) and Jira. 


  • Strong problem-solving skills


  • Knowledge of office software and applications like spreadsheets, presentations, ticketing systems, etc.


  • Excellent organizational and logistical skills, along with familiarity with agile methodologies.


  • Demonstrates passion and a desire to explore and understand internal processes.


  • Eager to learn and collaborate proactively as part of a larger team.


  • Currently enrolled in the 4th year of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management or related field


  • Able to commit full time internship between January - June 2025
