Overview & ResponsibilitiesPURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provides comprehensive support for human resources functions for a specific country/country group. Oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes for a specific country/country group.
The incumbent will play a key role in the delivery of recruitment, statutory compliances, rewards and operational support to the human resources manager.
BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent experience
- Experience should be 3-5 years in the Human Resources function
- Experienced in areas of recruitment, employee relations, retirement benefits, health and welfare plans and general Human Resources practices
- Good understanding of ISO standards for better human resource processes
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
- Leads local recruiting efforts; Workday candidates review and processing to respective managers, coordinates with local consultants, identifies candidates, participates in interview process, manages all pre-employment requirements (background checks, medical checks and psychometric profiling) for qualified candidates and negotiates the offer to be extended to the shortlisted candidate. Supports the Human Resources Manager with the successful recruitment and selection of high caliber individuals in line with business plan.
- Responsible for maintenance and entry of HR data into Workday. Also develop computer reports as requested.
- Supports the HR Manager in the robust on-boarding and Induction program for all new hires into the business.
- Responsible for management of local benefit programs, salary and wage administration, including the monthly invoice process and providing employee support.
- Responsible for ensuring all regulatory revisions and audited findings are communicated, documented and implemented as appropriate in coordination with the HR Manager, Factory Manager and Occupier. Liaise with Compliance consultants for submissions to the statutory departments.
- Supports with the design, implementation and administration of HR Policies. Assists in employee education and guidance to ensure understanding of the established policies.
- Interacts with and supplies appropriate information, guidance and direction to employees, department heads, and job applicants with regards to HR policies and practices.
- Supports HR Manager with the Apprenticeship program.
- Engages in sensitive and confidential matters like employee relations, organizational changes, and strategic manpower planning while protecting the security of information, data and files.
